    Yeah, what she said is that she was in favor of allowing Georgia to join NATO and then allowed for the fact that NATO allies, by virtue of being in NATO, will defend each other.

    I guess the solution to this is that Palin should have said "I don't want a backwater like Georgia in our nice, neat, pretty NATO"?

    Being anti-war now means that you are anti-NATO?

    I think tightening NATO around Russia is a provocative move driven by ambition for hegemony rather than any legitimate purpose. Georgia is a country were the opposition is imprisoned and civilians are bombed. I don't care for Russia either, but I have no dog in their fight and don't want my sons sent over for any pretense of one.
